THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO ANTICIPATED SEVERE WEATHER. WE MAY HAVE A FUTURE OPPORTUNITY TOWARDS THE END OF OCTOBER. Thank you all that have expressed an interest. ============================================= An opportunity has just come up to provide Hazlet Clean Communities with 1 to 1.5 hours of service on Saturday October 3 from 8:30AM-9/9:30AM.This will count towards Service Hours for all Scouts who participate. Scouts must participate for the full time the clean up is running to be credited. Please email me at Mr.Borg@T137.org by Tuesday, September 29 if you will be able to participate. Include the name of all participants. There is a Clean Communities Grant that will provide us with $10 per participant up to 50 participants for a maximum of $500. These monies will go towards the upcoming Sea Base trip for all participants. We need a minimum of 40 participants in order to take advantage of this program. Sea Base participants are strongly encouraged to participate and bring along a parent, sibling or friend. All Scouts including those going to Sea Base will receive Service Hours for participation. The clean up is at the Raritan High School Sports field. We will meet under the solar panels in the corner by the field. The township will provide all materials for the cleanup. Thank you, James Borg and the Sea Base Crew |
