We have another opportunity to provide Hazlet Clean Communities with 1 to 1.5 hours of service on Saturday October 24 from 8:30AM-9:30/10AM. This will count towards Service Hours for all Scouts who participate. Scouts must participate for the full time the clean up is running to be credited. Please email Mr.Borg by Tuesday, October 20 if you will be able to participate. Include the name of all participants. There is a Clean Communities Grant that will provide us with $10 per participant up to 50 participants for a maximum of $500. These funds will go towards the upcoming Sea Base trip for all participants. We need a minimum of 40 participants in the clean up in order to take advantage of this program. Sea Base participants are strongly encouraged to participate and bring along a parent, sibling or friend. All Scouts including those going to Sea Base will receive Service Hours for participation. The clean up is at the Hazlet Train Station. The township will provide all materials for the cleanup. Thank you, James Borg and the Troop 137 Sea Wolves ![]() |
