Troop 137 is planning a trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on May 9th. Scouts participating in this event will be expected to work on the American Cultures Merit Badge. We will be providing a Merit Badge Workshop for this Merit Badge.

The cost per person is $25. Space is limited and will be granted on a first come basis. Fill out this registration form and return it with your deposit to Mr. Borg by March 10 to reserve your spot. You will need to fill out the official Troop Permission Slip closer to the date of the trip.

The Statue of Liberty was the first site of America after a long transatlantic voyage for thousands of hopeful immigrants looking for a better life for themselves and their families. This trip will provide us access to the Statue’s pedestal and Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum housed here. The fee includes ferry service to and from the island, admission, and an audio tour.
