DUE TO THE IMPENDING INCLEMENT WEATHER AND THE SAFETY OF OUR SCOUTS THIS TRIP HAS BEEN REGRETFULLY CANCELED
Our February camping trip is right around the corner and this annual trip is a favorite for many scouts. The Forestburg campfire skits are always top notch! This is the first trip for our new cross-overs from Pack 137. While it's cold outside, we'll be warm in toasty in the heated cabins at Forestburg. Permission slips are due earlier than typical (January 22) so we can make cabin assignments and be sure we have enough drivers. The youth staff is looking to add some new activities to this trip to make it even more fun than last year! Curious about the weather up there? Keep your eye on "Monticello NY" when watching the weather reports on TV. Forestburg is not far from there. It was 19 degrees in Monticello on the day this was posted! Keep your fingers crossed and we'll be able to play on the frozen lake and hopefully have lots of snow up there!
